Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Technical Sales Executive to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical knowledge and sales acumen to effectively engage with prospective clients, understand their needs, and present tailored software solutions. This role will play a pivotal part in driving growth and establishing strong relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Lead Generation:
- Proactively identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities in line with company targets.
- Generate leads through outbound calls, email campaigns, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct market research to identify and pursue potential clients and new business prospects.
- Client Interaction:
- Understand customer requirements and pain points to deliver customized software solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of our products.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide detailed product information, technical specifications, and guidance to customers.
- Work closely with the technical team to ensure solutions are aligned with customer needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand new features and improvements.
- Sales Process Management:
- Prepare and deliver proposals and quotes to clients.
- Track sales activities and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals while adhering to company policies.
- Market Insight & Feedback:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings.
- Provide valuable feedback to the product and marketing teams for continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
- Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the software or technology sector.
- Strong understanding of software solutions and technical products is essential.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
