What they do:
Picking:
Receive order forms or digital lists of items to be shipped.
Locate and retrieve the required items from shelves or storage areas.
Confirm order quantities and ensure accuracy.
Packing:
Assemble orders for a customer.
Use packing materials like bubble wrap or packing peanuts to protect items during transit.
Seal packages and add labels with order information and shipping addresses.
Sometimes assist with loading trucks and ensuring deliveries are properly loaded.
